Nintendo opening new store in Fukuoka

Nintendo just announced that it’s set to open another store in Japan, with Fukuoka getting its own dedicated location. It will be open to the public at the end of 2025.

This marks the fourth store for Nintendo in Japan. Previously, locations launched in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

JR Hakata City (Amu Plaza) will be hosting the new store. Specific details about Nintendo Fukuoka will be shared at a later date.

Overall, Nintendo seems to be pushing for more stores than ever before. Just a few days ago, Nintendo San Francisco opened its doors to fans. That is just the second location in the United States, but perhaps it could be a sign of things to come.

There are still major reasons without a store of its own. Europe, for instance, doesn’t have anything to speak of. The same goes for Australia.

Thanks to Nintendo for today’s news. You can read more about the San Francisco store here.
