Action adventure game Nightmare Circus announced for Nintendo Switch

Nightmare Circus is set to appear on Nintendo Switch, FairPlay Studios announced today. The project is planning a 2026 launch.

Nightmare Circus is an action adventure title. You’ll play as a puppeteer trapped in the Nightmare Realm, and it’s your goal to help find his friends and escape the nightmare.

Nightmare Circus is an action-adventure game where the player takes on the role of a puppeteer trapped in the Nightmare Realm. As a member of a wandering circus troupe, you suddenly find yourself lost in an unknown land. You must fight enemies that wander the lands, save your fellow troupe members who are also stuck within this realm, uncover the mysteries of the realm, and make it back to the real world.

The key feature in the game is the “Puppet String” mechanic. The player can use the puppeteer’s two puppet sticks as a weapon to fend off hostile enemies as well as the puppeteer’s string to traverse, maneuver, and attack with our unique “Collision Combat” system. Employ an array of tools for creating satisfying collisions to smash, crash, and slam into enemies, obstacles, and danger; create your play style to deal with the many nightmares that roam the land!

Embark on an eerie yet whimsical journey through the twisted realm of nightmares, unlock its mysteries, fend off the monstrous threats, and save your friends, becoming the bravest puppeteer the realm has ever seen.
